BCS Stats Systems to provide StatMonitr services for Portland State University

PORTLAND, ORE. -- BCS Stats Systems will provide its StatMonitr stats service to media and staff for football and basketball events played on the campus of Portland State University this academic year, company president Nate Policar announced today. Portland State becomes the first FCS school to offer StatMonitr services at its home games.

"We're pleased to welcome Portland State as our newest partner. PSU not only gives us a presence in the Pacific Northwest, but also visibility at the FCS level, particularly in the Big Sky Conference," said Policar. "One of our goals is to allow non-BCS schools to compete side-by-side with BCS schools in terms of the stats services they offer, including live stats and stat monitors. PSU is a great example that these technologies are attainable for all schools that compete in NCAA athletics."

Portland State University is located in Portland, Ore. with an enrollment of nearly 30,000. The Vikings compete in 15 varsity sports at the NCAA Division-I level as a member of the Big Sky Conference.
