Holiday Bowl and Poinsettia Bowl select BCS Stats' StatMonitr System for their 2010 games

SAN DIEGO, CALIF. -- BCS Stats Systems and The San Diego Bowl Game Association announced today they have reached an agreement to use StatMonitr services at the two San Diego-based bowl games in 2010, the Bridgepoint Holiday Bowl and the San Diego Country Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl.

"We're happy to announce we are adding two more bowl games to our network. Having had the priviledge of attending the Holiday Bowl a fews year back, I know firsthand that is a quality event, and I'm eager to demonstrate how this partnership can make the event even better," said BCS Stats president Nate Policar.

Both bowl games are played at Qualcomm Stadium, the home field of the SDSU Aztecs and San Diego Chargers. The 2010 Holiday Bowl, in its 42nd year, will feature a match-up between the third seed from the Pac-10 Conference and the fifth seed from the Big 12 (after BCS selections) and will be played on December 30, 2010. The Navy Midshipmen have accepted an invitation to play in the fifth annual Poinsettia Bowl on December 23, against the hometown Aztecs.
