BCS Stats Reaches Agreement with NCAA for the 2010 Final Four

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. -- BCS Stats Systems has reached an agreement with the NCAA to provide IT consulting, stat monitors and All-Tournament Team online voting at the 2010 NCAA Men's Final Four on April 3 and 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind., company president Nate Policar announced today.

"We're very proud and excited to announce this new partnership," said Policar. "In my opinion, the Final Four is as big of an event, if not bigger, than the Super Bowl, and to be selected as the exclusive provider of stats services for it is a thrill, an honor and a privilege."

In addition to providing real-time, touch screen stat monitors to the media and staff in 40 locations throughout the venue, BCS Stats will also provide a real-time web feed of stats to credentialed media and coordinated live stats efforts during the event. All-Tournament team voting and the Most Outstanding Player award, which is selected every year by the United States Basketball Writers Association, will be conducted through BCS Stats' exclusive online tournament voting system. BCS Stats will also be providing its services at the All-America Game, which takes place at Lucas Oil Stadium on April 2, the day before the semi-final round.

This will mark the third championship event that BCS Stats has provided services for, as it previously serviced the 2007 BCS National Title Game in Glendale, Ariz. and the 2010 BCS National Title Game in Pasadena, Calif. It will also mean that BCS Stats has provided stats services in every round of the NCAA Men's Tournament, having previously serviced a First/Second round site as well as three Regional sites, most recently the 2009 West Regional in Glendale, Ariz.
